Wow, its already boxing day here in Australia. Yeserday was heaps of fun for my family. I got that pink phone I wanted, a new stereo system I can plug my iPod into, lipgloss, a Ptouch labeller, a few new cds, a new outfit and a few other bits and bobs.
What I'd like to know, though, is why everyone is so selfish and contaminated with jealousy and envy around this time of year. Christmas is the time for giving, not getting. We should feel a special emotion rising up, taking charge and overflowing with generousness, no selfishness.
Being selfish ruins you. No one else, hey they probably won't even realise it. Its up to you to make up your mind on your happiness, your fun and your emotions. No one else is going to make you happy and even if you had a billion dollars, you wouldn't be able to buy everything you want. Because money can't buy happiness.
SAYS, an amazing forum ( http://www.says-skills.com ) has voted moi, Shona, as 'Always Online' and I got an award for it too! How cool is that? OMG, I can't believe it!
Merry Christmas everyone and have a jolly good one too!

I'm glad you got what you wanted for Xmas! Yep, people sure do get selfish and petty around this time of year. Isn't it ironic, since this is supposed to be the season of giving? Go figure, huh?
Thanks Anne!
Yeah, its really ironic. I'll get my dad to go figure, although if we give others are gonna give to us, so the focus has seemed to be drawned closer to the fact that we are getting something, than the fact that we are giving.
