It's the worst around holidays. Everyone wants to quickly stuff their last chapter in before HPFF stops validating things (20th December-7th January) for Christmas break. So now, they have what, half a million, chapters they have to validate. They may halve that, seeing as many authors are trusted and so a quarter of a million chapters are there for a small amount of staff to validate before tomorrow!
Does anyone else feel annoyed by this queue? I realise that the queue is appropriate to keep the site good and clean and nice, but couldn't they get more staff or make it so that you can't post anything until 2 days after your last chap has been validated? That may clear the queues a bit. Or just find more TAs. Anything...
Sorry for this rant, but I've put something in that NEEDS to be up before Christmas and I can't say anymore because it's meant to be a surprise for someone.

Hello there! And I must say that I agree with you whole heartedly. I had put up three stories (all on different accounts) and only one of them got validated before the break. And now all of my readers--however few there may be--have to wait even longer (it was a long wait between the post) and it's not my fault! I really am tempted to go and join other places that wont have me wait forever to get it published or validated!
And now I shall end my rant.
